Vitality Pellet Ferret  (Super Premium Ferret Food)

Short Description: Our ferret food comes in a complete extruded pellet giving all the nutrients needed.

Long Description: Ferrets have a habit of selecting the tastiest food in the mix, which isn’t always the healthiest. Giving them an extruded pellet eliminates selective feeding which in-turn makes sure that your ferret is getting all the nutrients & vitamins needed to live a long & happy life.

Ferrets can also be fussy eaters, when supplying a new diet; introduce the diet gradually over a period of 5-7 days until it replaces the previous food completely. It is suggested that the total daily intake to be offered on a free choice basis (typically 50-75g/day). Do not leave stale food in the bowl over three days. For Young ferrets the dry diet should be fed soaked until 16 weeks of age. Young ferrets consume around 5-7% of their bodyweight. Amounts shown are only a guide & you should only feed your ferret sufficient amounts to maintain condition dependent upon the level of activity enjoyed & the reproductive phase.  Lactating ferrets will need 3-5 times maintenance.

COMPOSITION: CHICKEN MEAL (40%), CHICKEN FAT, PRAIRIE MEAL, RICE, MAIZE, WHEAT, SALMON, CHICKEN LIVER, YEAST, LECITHIN, MANNAN OLIGOSACCHARIDES, BLACKCURRANT, KALE, SPINACH, BEETROOT, YUCCA SCHUDIGERA, ROSEMARY, ROSEHIP, POMEGRANATE.

TYPICAL ANALYSIS: PROTEIN 39.0%, OILS & FATS 18.0%, FIBRE 2.0%, ASH 6.0%.

ADDITIVES PER KG: VITAMIN A 30,000 IU/KG, VITAMIN D3 2,00 IU/KG, VITAMIN E 250 MG/KG. TRACE ELEMENTS: IRON SULPHATE MONOHYDRATE 160 MG/KG, CUPRIC SULPHATE PENTAHYDRATE 20 MG/KG, MANGANOUS OXIDE 80 MG/KG, ZINC SULPHATE MONOHYDRATE 350 MG/KG, SODIUM SELENITE 0.1 MG/KG, TAURINE 850 MG/KG.

Storage Recommendations: Store in a cool dry place.  Not for human consumption. Always ensure that plenty of clean, fresh drinking water is available.
