Full Description: A popular choice for a lot of reptile owners due to being suitable to such a range of different reptiles & tortoises. Aspen soaks up urine odours very well & eliminates the smell & also makes a comfortable bedding & sometimes you’ll see some reptiles fashioning a comfortable home out of the substrate.

Spot check daily & change substrate monthly. Before adding this substrate to the tank, disinfect the flooring area & add around 3-5cms of depth & cover the entire flooring.

Aspen work best for a variety of snakes and other animals animals such as hamsters, gerbils, and mice.  We do not recommend it for rabbits since it is not absorbent enough for their urine output and may lead to urine scald.

Store in a cool dry place.
